Living in a country where jobs are scarce Marijeta Matijas finds courage to seek and live her (im)possible dream. Filmed on the beautiful Croatian coast in Pula, Istria.
For the past several years Croatia has suffered a huge economic and social crisis. Often I receive emails and FB messages from people who are devastated by poverty and sense of helplessness. The system is too corrupt and it’s simply impossible to do anything about it – they mostly say.
So, when I met Marijeta Matijas (on FaceBook), I was deeply moved and inspired.
Here is a young woman who has had the courage to find the way to live her dream – to recognize that her dream also includes a balance between her passion, her purpose, her marriage, and now motherhood – even when everyone around her was doing exactly the opposite.
