Season 1 – Episode 13 in which I get together with my friend Sasha for some fun, dopamine-releasing music.

Do you ever wonder what your physician does to stay healthy?

Wouldn’t you want to get into the head of your therapist (or a spiritual teacher) to find out how they stay balanced and filled with joy?

Well, my friend Sasha Strunjas is an amazing guy, a ‘mean’ gypsy jazz guitar player AND a clinical psychiatrist.

And in this episode, he shares what has kept him sane through some tough times.

Sasha grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia, a child of a mixed marriage (“mixed marriage” in that corner of the world was based upon both religion and nationality – and both were taken seriously). He is one of those amazing people who made it through the war and not only survived, but chose to live his life with joy and gratitude.

Watch this episode to listen to some fun gypsy jazz songs we did together (and you’ll see how much fun I was having – couldn’t stop clapping, smiling and bouncing – that dopamine is some powerful stuff, when released naturally).

LEAVE A COMMENT:

Sing, let your voice out, don’t hold back. Hide if you have to – in the shower or in your car, or if you know someone with a guitar, invite them over and sing through the old song books – the easy stuff – Beatles, Eagles, or Irish drinking songs!

Do yourself a favor and bring music back into your life. It doesn’t cost anything and it’s SO beneficial!
